Dovefest is held on Doveridge Playing Fields, Sand Lane, Doveridge, Derbyshire, DE6 5JQ.
Travel & Parking
Doveridge is close to the A50 for easy access from Uttoxeter, Derby, Burton, Ashbourne and beyond. The village is also on the bus route from Uttoxeter to Burton with buses every 30 mins or so. For more information please see the bus timetables.
There is also a footpath from Uttoxeter so you can walk up!
There will be FREE parking available on the campsite which is open on Saturday. If gates are locked, just ask Security or someone in Hi Vis. You can also call John Barnett on 07453 348 255 who will come and open gates.
Parking on the campsite is FREE, but there is a donations box for those of you who would like to add a few pennies to the cause.
If you wish, you can park on Derby Road in the village, we suggest beyond The Cavendish and Bakers Lane in the opposite direction in order to keep the main part of the village clear (cones will be place in the section of Derby road which backs onto the Playing Fields). Sand Lane will have no parking and as we need access to the field for bands, stall holders and most importantly emergency vehicles.
There may be some parking spaces available in front of the village school and near the church.
Facilities
Toilet facilities (including disabled) will be provided on-site. Food and Drink will also be available on the field – for more information check out the our page here.
The festival site is close to the Village store, ideal for any essentials you may require during the day.
Cash is available from the Village Shop for some banks. The Village Club and purchases on the field (Bar, Stalls, Rides etc.) is cash only – so make sure you get your cash before the day!
